America First Means Standing Up to Cuba—Trump Gets It
Isn’t it amazing what real leadership looks like? While the Biden administration shrugs its shoulders and lets dictators walk all over us, President Trump is out there making bold moves. In a recent interview, he made it very clear: major changes are coming for Cuba, and it won’t be business as usual anymore. For too long, the radical Castro regime has cozied up to America’s enemies, welcoming communism and sowing chaos just ninety miles from our shores. Enough is enough.
Democrats like to pretend that tough talk is reckless. They’d rather appease foreign bad actors than protect the American people. Remember how the Obama-Biden team bent over backwards for the Cuban regime? They handed out concessions, reopened embassies, and acted like it was “historic progress.” What did America get? More suffering for Cubans and more headaches for us. Trump isn’t interested in empty gestures—he’s thinking two steps ahead, ready to pull the rug out from under Havana’s anti-American elites.
The liberal media will panic, clutching their pearls and crying about “escalation.” They’ll ignore the fact that Cuba has been a breeding ground for Russian and Chinese influence for decades. That’s the real threat. These globalist cowards love to preach about “diplomacy,” but they never seem to care when America gets the short end of the stick. While weak-kneed politicians are obsessed with their own image, Trump remembers what his job actually is—to keep this nation safe and put America first.
And let’s not forget the people of Cuba. They suffer under socialist tyranny while the world pretends everything is normal. For liberals, Cuba’s misery is just collateral damage if it means they get to look “woke” on TV. Trump, on the other hand, refuses to play that game. Unlike the left, he sees dictatorships for what they are—threats to freedom everywhere, especially in our own backyard.
Imagine if we had this kind of clear-eyed leadership the last time Cuba grabbed headlines. Instead, we got photo ops and failure from the Democrats. Trump isn’t tiptoeing around the issue. He’s setting the stage for decisive action. Isn’t it about time we stopped apologizing for demanding respect—especially from those who threaten our values? Cuba, take note: America is back, and this time, we’re not playing nice.
