While the world tunes in for the genuine drama of events like the World Cup, ESPN puts on yet another dull, self-important awards show. No one cares who wins a meaningless trophy when the broadcast is just an excuse for lectures and manufactured outrage. ESPN should take a lesson from actual athletes—nobody wins by whining. You have to put in the effort and respect the game.
Real Americans are hungry for truth, tradition, and grit, not another round of smug elites patting themselves on the back. Maybe ESPN should ask itself who it’s really serving: sports fans, or the globalist crowd that never cared about a touchdown in their life. If ESPN doesn’t wake up, it’ll become as irrelevant as last year’s box scores—just another casualty of liberal arrogance.
