America tuned in to their screens this morning expecting the usual drumbeat of liberal propaganda courtesy of the Today show—only to witness a jaw-dropping attack right in NBC’s own backyard. Some unhinged individual was able to stroll right past the so-called “secure” Rockefeller Center studios and actually lunge at host Craig Melvin, spitting vile racist slurs in the process. This wasn’t in the heart of some lawless city street—this was supposed to be a top-tier, high-security broadcast hub.
Why should anyone be surprised, though? With Democrat-run cities turning into playgrounds for criminals, and elite media outlets more interested in preaching “diversity” than enforcing basic safety, it’s a miracle this sort of thing hasn’t happened sooner. Liberals are so obsessed with virtue signaling and chasing away anyone who questions their broken policies, they can’t even keep their own house in order. This is the price of bowing to woke nonsense rather than facing real threats.
It’s clear that Leftist priorities are out of whack. While they love to pat themselves on the back for crusading against “hate speech” online, they’re asleep at the wheel when it comes to actual threats—in real life, right under their noses. The sad irony? The same media that celebrates open borders, lax enforcement, and endless handouts now finds itself the victim of its own failed ideology. The globalist dream isn’t just a fantasy—it’s getting dangerous.
The Today set was supposed to be safe, barricaded off from the chaos they so often ignore—or worse, excuse—on their broadcasts. Security experts will talk about “luck” that nothing worse happened, but true conservatives know the real culprit is a culture that refuses to take crime seriously. NBC and their mainstream pals have spent years mocking border security, defunding police, and demonizing anyone who dares call for law and order. This is where it leads.
Maybe the elitist anchors will finally wake up, but don’t count on it. The liberal media will spin this as just an isolated incident, not a symptom of the ugly truth they’ve helped create. If NBC can’t protect their own stars in their flagship studios, how are any regular Americans expected to feel safe in Joe Biden’s America?
