For years, the mainstream media and liberal elites have tried to convince us that violent extremism is only a problem on the right. They dodged the truth and turned a blind eye whenever left-wing radicals tore up our cities, attacked innocent people, or destroyed property to make a political point. Now, finally, Marco Rubio is shining a light on this dirty little secret—and it’s about time.
If someone waves a conservative sign or even questions leftist policies, they get called a “domestic terrorist.” But when the far-left mobs take to the streets, smashing windows, setting fires, and terrorizing neighborhoods, politicians on the left make excuses. They call it “mostly peaceful” or pretend it’s all about justice. It’s hypocrisy, plain and simple. This double standard has made America weaker and less safe.
Our counterterrorism agencies have focused almost entirely on threats from the right, ignoring the dangerous rise of leftist violence. That’s not just incompetence—it’s anti-American. It’s political bias getting in the way of protecting the country. The left’s favorite activists have been allowed to break the law without consequences. When globalist elites decide who is and isn’t a threat based on their own politics, American citizens pay the price.
Let’s be honest: the people running the show in Washington have been too scared to call out violence when it comes from their own side. They want to keep the status quo. They want to ignore it, brush it under the rug, and point fingers somewhere else. Meanwhile, ordinary Americans are left feeling unsafe in their own communities.
Rubio’s warning couldn’t come a minute sooner. It’s about time we call left-wing violence what it is—domestic terrorism—and start holding these radicals accountable. The days of pretending leftists are harmless protesters while conservatives get smeared are over. Why should Americans tolerate a ruling class that protects the wreckers and attacks the patriots?
