Russian Cybercriminals Attack America. And the Left Still Sleeps.
It should come as no shock—once again, America has been hit by foreign hackers, this time out of Vladimir Putin’s backyard. Federal prosecutors just slapped handcuffs—at least on paper—on three Russian nationals and two of their shady, Kremlin-connected companies. Their business model? Attacking the backbone of our country and getting filthy rich while Americans suffer.
These are not minor cyber-frauds or simple cases of identity theft. We’re talking about ruthless criminals who gave hackers the tools to infiltrate our banks, schools, hospitals, and even government agencies across 21 states. They ran so-called “bulletproof hosting” companies: internet havens where malware flows, stolen data trades hands, and U.S. victims get soaked for tens of millions of dollars. The American people become victims while D.C. elites fret more about pronouns and climate change than defending our digital borders.
Worse yet, the web these cyber-thugs spun stretches across the globe. Their servers operated not just in Russia but in China, the Netherlands, and even right here on U.S. soil—while our own leadership obsesses over climate summits with those very same countries. Washington loves to preach about “international cooperation,” yet dirty Russian money and foreign hackers slip through the cracks thanks to bureaucratic sloth and globalist blindness.
Federal agencies, pushed into action by sheer necessity, finally dropped sanctions and offered massive rewards for information. But why does the American public only hear about tough talk after the damage is done? These sleeper agents have already attacked the systems that keep our kids safe, keep our lights on, and maintain our way of life. All the while, the leftist aristocrats act like national security is a dated idea—unless, of course, it’s about gatekeeping some D.C. cocktail party.
Where is the outrage from mainstream media? These most recent attacks prove—again—that a weak America is a vulnerable America. Our enemies don’t care about our virtue signaling or our feelings. They care about breaking in, bleeding us dry, and laughing in our faces. Maybe if Silicon Valley and leftist bureaucrats stopped spending their resources censoring conservatives, and started defending our actual infrastructure, Russian hackers would have a harder time tearing this country apart.
How many more cyber hits will it take before America’s so-called leaders wake up—or will they just keep letting our adversaries write the rules? Unless we get serious about hardening our digital defenses and holding our rivals accountable, the next devastating headline is only a click away.
