Texas Democrat James Talarico pushes wild border theory critics say is pure fantasy

James Talarico just proved, once again, that Democrats are living in a fantasy land. This guy is running for Senate in Texas—the heart of red America—and he thinks he’s got a shot with messages more fit for Berkeley than the Lone Star State. Instead of offering real solutions, he rambled on about cliffs and mountains being a substitute for an actual border. Apparently, he thinks rocks and hills will keep out the flood of illegal crossings. Maybe he was hoping people would forget about the chaos at our border—or maybe he was just plain confused. Either way, it’s not leadership. It’s delusion.

Texas voters see right through this nonsense. Texans want border security, not fairy tales. Families are tired of the drugs, the violence, and the endless parade of illegal aliens pouring across our border. Yet, liberals like Talarico get on television and mumble about God’s protection, as if faith alone is going to keep criminal cartels and fentanyl dealers out of America. If this is the best the Democrats can do, it’s no wonder Republicans are uniting behind real conservatives who understand what’s at stake.

Let’s be honest: this is the same old leftist fairy dust. The Democrats don’t care what Texas voters want. They care about their woke agenda—nonbinary theology, gender politics, and open borders. They’re so caught up in appeasing radical activists and globalist elites, they can’t even fake normalcy for a five-minute interview. It’s a clown show that would be funny if the stakes weren’t so high.

What’s even more ridiculous is that they push these candidates as if Texas is just waiting to embrace their “progressive” nonsense. News flash: Texans don’t want to gamble their safety on theories that belong in college dorm rooms. Any candidate who shrugs off border security, especially now, is out of touch and out of their mind.

It might be hard to tell if Talarico’s campaign is a real effort or just a prank on the voters. Either way, the Democrat playbook is clear: distract, deny, and hope nobody notices the chaos at our border. Texans deserve better. The question is, how much more of this lunacy will voters accept before giving these radical liberals their pink slip?
