Texas just showed America what it looks like to actually stand up and do something in the face of chaos. Governor Greg Abbott has made it clear he won’t sit back while questions hang over the fatal shooting of a Mexican national in Houston by an ICE agent. Instead of shrugging off responsibility—like so many weak leaders on the left—Abbott did the right thing and called in the Texas Rangers to investigate. Finally, some backbone in a country that desperately needs it.

Why does this even matter? Because while open borders fanatics are busy making excuses for law-breaking on our soil, Texas is the one state putting American safety first. The left loves to demonize ICE and law enforcement, but when the situation is complicated or politically risky, they suddenly want investigations. The hypocrisy is rich. Where’s their outrage for the innocent Americans who live in fear thanks to failed immigration policies from D.C. elites?

Let’s not pretend Houston is some random battlefield either. Biden’s open border disaster has turned Texas cities into ground zero for drugs, crime, and violence. Yet every time law enforcement must act, the left circles the wagons to protect illegal invaders, demanding more “accountability” for ICE than for the people breaking our laws. It’s twisted logic, but we’re used to that from a Democratic Party that treats sovereignty like a dirty word.

Abbott is doing what any real leader should. He’s making sure the facts come out. He’s also making it clear Texas won’t be bullied by globalist interest groups or the out-of-touch Biden White House. Calling in the Rangers sends a message: Texas takes justice seriously—no political games, no double standards.

Maybe if Washington had the same guts, Americans wouldn’t be held hostage by Biden’s border negligence. If leftists in power actually cared about public safety, they’d back the blue instead of bowing to radicals and foreign governments.
