They act like coal is a dirty relic from our past, soon to be replaced by endless fields of wind turbines and solar panels. But reality is a funny thing—it refuses to bend to leftist fantasies. The truth is, coal isn’t going away. In fact, coal is making a comeback, and a big one at that.
Climate activists have been selling a fairytale to investors and policymakers. These elites promised a swift, easy transition to green energy that would save the planet. But as usual, their plans ignored the real-life limitations of solar and wind. Those sources are unreliable, expensive, and totally unfit to power the world at scale. What do you get when you build an energy plan on wishful thinking? Rolling blackouts, sky-high energy prices, and angry citizens left in the dark.
As countries around the world stare down energy shortages and rising costs, many are quietly cranking coal plants back online. Instead of replacing coal, western leaders are simply layering so-called clean energy right on top of everything else, adding complexity and cost. Meanwhile, left-wing talking heads refuse to admit their failures. They pretend shutting down reliable coal power is an act of moral courage, while millions suffer the consequences. It’s easy to preach about climate action from a cozy office in D.C.—much harder to keep the lights on without reliable fuel.
Let’s be honest: these globalist climate schemes aren’t about saving the American middle class. They’re about control. Liberals and their billionaire buddies create rules that only benefit themselves, while families pay for their mistakes. The push for “net zero” was never realistic, unless you want an economy that relies on rationing and rolling blackouts. Coal, for all the haters, remains abundant, affordable, and actually works. That’s why the rest of the world keeps using it, while the West sabotages itself.
Reality always wins. An energy system built on left-wing dreams collapses under its own weight. People want heat in winter and power when they flip a switch. Coal delivers—green promises don’t. At the end of the day, isn’t it time for politicians to ditch the fairy tales and start learning from the laws of physics? Or will we just watch them burn America’s future for a headline and a photo op?
