Once again, it took President Trump to do what the Biden administration simply could not. On Wednesday, Trump announced the successful release of Dena Karari, an American citizen who had been held hostage in Iran since December 2024. She was locked up under the so-called “leadership” of Joe Biden, a man who bows to globalist appeasement and always puts American citizens last.
It’s not a coincidence. Every single time Democrats get cozy with hostile nations, it’s American lives that hang in the balance. Under Biden, Iran saw the United States as weak and laughable. Instead of demanding respect, the left begged for deals, handed out sanctions relief, and sent pallets of cash in a desperate attempt at “diplomacy.” And what did it get us? Our own citizens detained by enemy regimes while the world watched our government fumble.
Contrast that embarrassing weakness with Trump’s signature America First approach. Trump didn’t tiptoe around Tehran. He made it clear: Americans are not bargaining chips. During his presidency, adversaries backed down. Hostages were freed, not forgotten. Trump didn’t just talk tough — he got real results, even from the world’s most notorious thugs.
This latest victory exposes the massive gulf between America-loving conservatives and leftist doormats. When Biden was at the helm, the message to Iran was: Do whatever you want. When Trump steps up, the message is: Don’t mess with our people. The left claims to care about human rights, but when it comes to standing up for Americans, they’re nowhere to be found — unless they can use victims for another bloated, empty fundraiser.
Does anyone still believe that liberal weakness keeps us safe? Trump’s actions show, once again, that only real leadership puts American lives first. Why should we accept anything less?
