At this point, you’d expect the chancellor of a world-famous health science university to know a thing or two about basic biology. Turns out, that’s asking too much from the so-called experts running our top medical schools. The UCSF chancellor just proved how little the left actually cares about science when it gets in the way of their political games.
The chancellor couldn’t handle the simplest biological truth, tripping up on facts that every seventh grader is supposed to know. Of course, that’s the new standard in these liberal institutions—deny reality, as long as it keeps the DEI activists happy and the globalist donors writing checks. At this point, believing in science is only allowed if it fits the progressive agenda.
Liberal leaders love to lecture the rest of us about “following science.” But when pressed on the most basic facts, like the differences between men and women, they suddenly get stage fright. The UCSF chancellor danced around questions and dodged like a pro—clearly more comfortable in the Evasion 101 classroom than any real lab.
It’s a sad day when a person trusted to train the doctors of tomorrow can’t bring themselves to admit biological realities. This is how we end up with public health leaders more focused on virtue-signaling than actually telling the truth. They’d rather offend common sense than risk upsetting the angry Twitter mob that worships at the altar of woke ideology.
If these are the people running our medical universities, should anyone really wonder why trust in science is hitting rock bottom? America needs bold leaders, not cowardly bureaucrats who crumble the second a hard question arrives. Maybe it’s time we get some grown-ups back in charge, before the next generation of doctors forgets what a chromosome even is.
