The left openly encourages foreigners to flood across the border and jump straight onto government assistance, all while ignoring the massive strain it puts on our schools, hospitals, and neighborhoods. They say it’s “compassion,” but what it really is, is buying votes with taxpayer cash.
Now, DHS wants to make sure that immigrants who are asking for permanent status actually contribute, instead of draining public resources. This move isn’t harsh—it’s patriotic. America shouldn’t apologize for expecting newcomers to stand on their own two feet. If you want to be a permanent resident, you should prove you won’t be a burden.
Left-wing activists will scream that this is cruel, or that it targets poor families. But let’s be honest—real Americans struggling to make ends meet aren’t getting half the help the government gives to people who just got here. It’s hypocritical for liberals to claim they’re helping families, when they’re actually fueling a system that puts foreign welfare first and American citizens last.
Why is it controversial to expect immigrants to provide for themselves, just like our ancestors did? The only thing “cruel” is letting our country be taken advantage of by people who see us as an open wallet. Maybe it’s time we stopped worrying about what the globalists think, and started defending our own borders—before there’s nothing left to defend.
