Josh Hawley exposes radical left for siding with mass murderer over innocent victims

America just got a front-row seat to the twisted priorities of the radical left once again. Senator Josh Hawley didn’t pull any punches as he ripped into a former federal pardon lawyer who pushed clemency for every last death row inmate — including one of the most notorious racist mass murderers in recent memory. While law-abiding citizens demand justice, the left’s so-called “experts” are bending over backward to make life cushy for monsters like Dylann Roof.

Let’s be clear. Roof walked into a historic black church and coldly executed nine innocent Americans gathered for Bible study. He murdered them simply because of the color of their skin. A heartless act of hate and evil. And how does the Biden administration’s chosen pardon “expert” respond? By recommending that Roof, and every other federal death row killer, get off the hook. Not justice. Not accountability. Just a lifetime of taxpayer-funded meals and cable TV.

This should make anyone’s blood boil. Hawley went straight after this lawyer’s tone-deaf logic — pointing out that she considered things like “anxiety” and “sentence disparity” when making her recommendation for clemency. What about the shattering pain and lifelong anxiety inflicted on the families of Roof’s victims? Doesn’t their suffering matter to these ivory tower elites? Or is the real goal just to erase the consequences for society’s worst criminals, all to fit some woke agenda?

It’s sickening to see this double standard. This same lawyer couldn’t find “grace” for an actor like Mel Gibson, who hasn’t harmed anyone on the level of a mass murderer, but apparently feels we should spare the likes of Roof. That’s how upside-down our justice system becomes when run by leftist bureaucrats who are more interested in coddling criminals than protecting the innocent.

Americans should never accept a system that tramples over victims for the sake of progressive virtue signaling. If this is the kind of leadership Democrats want in charge of justice, no wonder our streets are less safe and our values under constant attack. When will the left finally put the rights of law-abiding families above the feelings of deranged killers?
