America is choking on smoke, and once again, it comes from Canada. Every year, our skies turn brown, breathing becomes dangerous, and no one on the left lifts a finger. Liberals want Americans to pay the price for environmental disasters not of our making while their buddies up north rake in the cash and leave us coughing. President Trump just put his foot down with a fresh idea: make Canada cover the cost of the smog they send our way through increased tariffs.
It’s about time someone stood up for America. For years, so-called leaders on both sides sat back as Canada shrugged off responsibility. Meanwhile, Democrats line up with their globalist pals, desperate not to rock the boat. They wave away the filth in our air, just as they did with stealing American jobs and selling out to foreign interests. Trump is the first president daring enough to actually challenge Canada over this disaster.
But the radical left can’t stand it. They’d rather cry about mean tweets than face facts. When Trump pushed and pushed for real trade agreements, he always put American workers and families first. Canada and Mexico love to drag their feet, happy to enjoy the benefits of our open market while ignoring their messes—like our children inhaling toxic wildfire smoke for months.
Why should we sit back and let other countries treat us like a dumping ground? These are the same elites who claim to care about the climate, but when the pollution is hurtling over from Canada, suddenly they have nothing to say. When it’s American farmers or workers, liberals are quick to demand new rules and taxes. But real leadership means holding everyone accountable, even our so-called allies.
If Canada won’t clean up its act, make them pay—literally. Want our trade? Fine, but not without paying for the damage. While liberals whine and fold, Trump stands ready to protect Americans first. Maybe it’s time the rest of Washington remembered whose side they’re supposed to be on. Will they keep turning a blind eye, or finally back a president with the guts to put America first?
