Trump slashes DC federal jobs to record low liberals panic as Americans cheer real change

Washington, D.C. is finally shrinking its bloated federal workforce, and Americans everywhere should be cheering. Under President Trump’s unwavering leadership, the number of federal workers in the DC area has plummeted to a level we haven’t seen in three decades. That’s not a sign of failure—it’s exactly what this nation needed after years of unelected bureaucrats growing government at the expense of taxpayers and American freedom.

Liberals and entrenched Washington insiders love to pretend that every dollar the government spends is sacred. They treat every agency, every program, every useless middle manager as if our whole society would collapse without them. But President Trump knows exactly where all the waste, corruption, and abuse hide out. That’s why over 60,000 federal jobs have disappeared since his second term began. He’s proving you can swing the axe and the world won’t end—unless, of course, you’re a government leech who thinks working for the feds is a birthright.

The Department of Education? On life support—and good riddance. Nearly 40 percent of its staff gone, slashing the sad leftovers of Obama and Biden’s failed schemes. If Trump gets his way, that entire agency will be scrapped for good. Housing and Urban Development and the Treasury both took hard hits, and anyone who’s ever dealt with the IRS can’t complain that tax enforcement finally got a haircut. The only people upset are bureaucrats and the army of tax lawyers who profit from endless red tape.

Some liberals gasp at the sight of smaller federal departments, but they forget what government is actually meant to do. Trump isn’t chopping defense or border security. In fact, he’s strengthening them. Agencies keeping our country safe are getting more support than ever, while useless, overpriced pet projects are being sent to the dustbin. Funny how the same crowd who howls about “government overreach” is crying now that their favorite failed programs are under the knife.

Meanwhile, globalist hacks and Democrat elites will scream about lost jobs. But Americans know those jobs weren’t fueling the real economy—they were padding the pockets of political operatives and lifelong functionaries. It’s about time someone cleaned house in DC and put the focus back where it belongs: on the American people, not government fat cats. How long until the left admits that shrinking Washington is the only way to help Main Street thrive?
