For years, Democrats were shouting from the rooftops about the dangers of electronic voting machines. They claimed these machines could be hacked, rigged, or manipulated—echoing exactly what many conservatives have said for decades. Suddenly, after the 2020 election, all that concern magically vanished. Within weeks, the very same crowd who once demanded paper ballots and “secure elections” flipped their script. Now, you’d think anyone who dares to question machine voting is some unhinged conspiracy theorist.
The hypocrisy is off the charts. Back in the early 2000s, Democrats complained non-stop about the risks of putting our elections in the hands of machines. They warned that foreign actors, hackers, and political crooks could mess with outcomes. Remember the endless drama after the 2000 election? It was liberals leading the charge, demanding audits, kicking and screaming about “voter integrity” and “dangerous” machines. What changed? Not the machines, that’s for sure.
Let’s not kid ourselves—those concerns were right the first time. Electronic voting machines are vulnerable. Whether it’s Russia, China, bored teenagers in basements, or domestic bad actors, it doesn’t take a genius to see how dangerous it is to trust black boxes with our most sacred American right. Democrats used to agree. But now, because machine voting seems to help their “side” win, suddenly it’s all safe and secure? Give me a break.
This isn’t just about hypocrisy—it’s about control. The left wants to silence any question about machine voting, even though they raised those very concerns for years. They act like only their side should scrutinize elections. When they’re losing, it’s a crisis; when they’re winning, any question is an attack on democracy. It’s a classic case of double standards and anti-American arrogance.
Americans deserve better than this charade. If machine voting really was so risky, why did liberals change their tune? Maybe they know whose interests these machines are actually serving. Funny how the people in power only care about election security when it threatens their grip. When will the left admit that real election integrity means the will of the voter—not the will of the machine?
