Westerners keep getting told that government is here to protect them. But open your eyes—government is here to control you. It always has been. It’s in the DNA of every regime, even the ones that cloak themselves in flags and fancy words like “democracy.” Our rights don’t come from bureaucrats behind mahogany desks. They come from God, plain and simple. And the moment people forget that, politicians rush in to reshape those rights as government privileges—granted or stripped away at will.
Look at what’s happening all across the so-called “free world.” The people elected nobody to spy on their phone calls, read their emails, or track every online purchase. The people elected no one to censor pastors, silence parents, or tell football kids where they can pray. Yet the left keeps pushing, taking, smothering true liberty. They dress up every crack-down as “protecting the public” or “fighting misinformation,” but it’s just a new excuse to grab power and silence dissent.
The truth is, governments don’t fight for privacy or liberty. They wage war against it! They choke out free speech and call it “safety.” They trample religious freedom because nothing enrages them more than a power higher than the state. They chip away at property rights, demanding taxes and endless regulations. Why? Because they want us docile and dependent, thinking of ourselves as subjects, not citizens.
Liberals and globalist elites love to point fingers at “authoritarianism” in other countries, but they’re the ones holding the puppet strings here at home. The media, the banks, unelected officials, international bodies—they work together to hijack elections, install obedient leaders, and silence anyone who refuses to kneel at their altar. Just look at what passes for “democracy” now: rigged ballots, political prosecutions, and backroom deals where party insiders hand-pick presidents. They keep saying the West stands for freedom, but they’re too busy copying the worst tactics from communists and dictators—especially when it comes to shutting up conservatives, Christians, and anyone proud to be American.
People sat back, proud of “defeating tyranny” in decades past, while the real tyranny snuck in through the back door. Well, enough is enough. Our rights were never government gifts to be withdrawn when some bureaucrat gets nervous. These rights—speech, faith, privacy, property—are from God, not government. Fake “democracies” and weak leaders didn’t hand them out, and they sure as hell can’t take them away.
The only thing standing between the people and a total surveillance state is courage. So why are so many willing to trade their God-given rights for false promises from career politicians? When do Americans say “no more” and remind the elites whose country this really is?
