Less than 24 hours before this phony “greeting,” Mamdani was trashing Israel’s prime minister, calling him a war criminal and cheering for an ICC arrest. This is straight-up hypocrisy: one minute securing woke points by attacking Jewish self-defense, the next pretending to stand in solidarity with Jews in mourning. The left has become so obsessed with tearing down Israel, they don’t even care how naked their double standards look. Even on Tisha B’Av—a day Jews mourn the loss of their homeland—they can’t hide their contempt for Jewish statehood.
Let’s get one thing straight. Tisha B’Av isn’t just some vague “remembrance of suffering.” It’s a day that marks the destruction of the First and Second Temples, the end of Jewish rule in Jerusalem, and the beginning of exile. The very existence of the holiday exposes the historical reality: Jews ruled, built, and lost their capital thousands of years before anyone ever heard of Muhammad, Islam, or the Palestinians. He took his oath of office on Qurans, and let’s not forget, his own wife has been caught online praising terror groups, spreading conspiracy theories about October 7, and cheering for the destruction of Israel. Here’s the ugly truth: the left loves Jews as victims, but hates them as a nation. They’ll mourn Jewish suffering but loathe Jewish agency. The Tisha B’Av message isn’t solidarity—it’s a warning.
