Who wants children exposed to creeps online? But take a closer look. These bills are never really about protecting children. They’re about building centralized government databases. They’re about forcing Americans to show government ID just to join a forum, comment on politics, or even read the news online. The endgame is obvious: control, compliance, and the slow death of free speech.
Look at gun control for a second. Progressive politicians chase “Universal Background Checks” with the same excuse—“It’s about safety.” But everyone knows criminals don’t line up for background checks. The real goal is simple: gun registries. That way, the government knows exactly who owns what. It’s step one toward confiscation. These people crave lists—whether it’s guns or internet users, it’s the same authoritarian impulse every time.
The so-called child safety bills are just gun registry schemes for the digital age. In the name of “protecting kids,” government wants to smash the shield of online anonymity. Adults and children alike would be forced to upload sensitive personal documents just to log in anywhere. Political discussion? Religious debate? Kiss privacy goodbye. The feds and their Big Tech partners would have the ultimate wish list of every political dissident, every Christian, every independent American still willing to speak the truth.
Want proof? Just look at what’s happening in Britain. Ordinary people are getting thrown in jail for their Facebook posts and even for silent prayer in public. That’s the future the left wants: crushing anyone who dares speak out, using “safety” and “public health” as the excuse every single time.
This isn’t about kids. It’s about power. The far left wants the keys to the whole system—digital IDs, centralized databases, the ability to hunt down and silence their political enemies with the push of a button. Americans know the playbook by now: distract with emotion, sneak in surveillance, and weaponize the government against everyday patriots. When will the left stop hiding behind children, and admit their real goal is to throttle liberty? Or is that question too dangerous to ask once their database is built?
