The writing is on the wall for Iran’s radical regime. Joe Biden and his globalist pals spent years cozying up to Tehran, bending over backwards to appease a dictatorship hell-bent on crushing freedom across the Middle East. But now that real American leadership is calling the shots, Iran’s economy is buckling. Economists, not right-wing pundits, are warning that Iran faces a “severe collapse” under a blockade that the United States can keep in place as long as it takes.
For decades, left-wing politicians claimed “sanctions don’t work.” They cried crocodile tears over “humanitarian concerns” while Iran funneled money to terrorist groups and laughed in America’s face. Well, the facts don’t lie. The mullahs are running out of cash. Their people are fed up. Even the experts admit that Iran is gasping for air, its economy strangled by tough American resolve.
While liberal elites wring their hands and preach “diplomacy,” it’s strength—not empty words—that delivers results. Iran’s government tried to hold the world hostage with threats and outrageous demands. It turns out a simple answer works best: shut off the cash, block their vital resources, and wait for the pressure to crack the regime.
Of course, you can expect elites in Brussels and the UN to start whining. They’ll talk about “fairness” and “dialogue,” as if the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism deserves another helping hand. Maybe John Kerry will send the regime a fruit basket. But the American people know better. Appeasement only ever emboldens thugs. Real security comes from drawing a line and sticking to it.
Iran is on the edge. American muscle, not globalist weakness, put them there. So why, after all these warnings, do liberals still crave detente with dictators? Are they blind, naïve, or just addicted to “America Last” policies? Maybe it’s all three. This is what real foreign policy success looks like—so let’s see if the left has the guts to admit it.
