Washington’s priorities are all wrong. Instead of helping hard-working Americans find a roof they can afford, our so-called leaders in DC seem more interested in protecting every bug, bird, and bush that ends up on an ever-growing “endangered species list.” And what do we get? Sky-high housing prices, endless red tape, and fewer homes for real people.
Let’s get one thing straight: Americans need homes—not lectures about some spotted frog in a swamp no one’s ever heard of. But liberal bureaucrats act like they care more about critters than citizens. Think about it—while regular families are being priced out of decent neighborhoods, left-wing activists keep shoving new species onto the government’s list, forcing builders to jump through hoop after pointless hoop. That means higher costs and fewer homes. Who benefits? Certainly not our families, veterans, or young couples desperately trying to put down roots.
And don’t even start on the hypocrisy. The very same liberal elites who push for these radical environmental rules? You’ll find them living in fancy gated communities where no one has to worry about affordable housing—or actual wildlife. They lecture us about “protecting nature,” but they’re just protecting their own interests. Meanwhile, everyday Americans are stuck paying the price for their out-of-touch rules.
All this nonsense makes one thing clear: Washington is putting animals over people. The housing crisis gets worse while big government grows bigger. Liberals love to talk about compassion, but where’s their compassion for families who just want to own a home? Where’s the justice for blue-collar workers priced out because of some obscure snail or rodent?
It’s time for leaders who put Americans first. Our country was built on people, not on paperwork for endangered field mice. When will the bureaucrats wake up and realize our people—not plants or pests—should be the top priority? Or is affordable housing now officially another endangered species in Joe Biden’s America?
