The media loves to shout about “protecting the environment”—unless it means stopping the never-ending flood of dangerous drugs, crime, and cartel violence pouring over our broken border. For years, liberal reporters have averted their eyes from the destruction caused by Mexican drug cartels in our national parks and deserts. They acted like mountains of trash, destroyed wildlife, and deadly narcotics didn’t exist. If you dared to mention it, you were called a right-wing fearmonger.
Suddenly, when someone tries a real solution—build a wall to stop the chaos—the same so-called “environmentalists” freak out. Now, they’re bending over backwards to act like they care about every blade of grass along the border. This isn’t about protecting parks or endangered animals. It’s about shutting down any policy that might actually work. They’d rather see America’s border wide open than admit their own smug policies have failed.
Why don’t these activists protest the actual cartel camps, trashed desert landscapes, and abandoned stashes of weapons that endanger families and ruin land? Silence. Not a word when the wilderness turns into a dumping ground for criminals. The moment law enforcement steps in to build a barrier, it’s suddenly a “crisis” for the environment. That’s not environmental protection, that’s pure hypocrisy.
Real Americans know what’s at risk. Border walls don’t just rescue ranchers and families—they save the wild lands the left claims to love. The only thing liberals want to protect is their twisted version of “open borders.” Letting cartels have free rein isn’t compassion, it’s betrayal.
If so-called environmentalists really cared, they’d be leading the charge to secure our parks from foreign criminals. Instead, they just want to score political points—even if it means ignoring the bloody mess right under their noses. Maybe the next time they whine about a wall, someone should ask where their outrage was when the cartels turned our public lands into crime scenes.
