Just when the Democrats thought they had their hands on the levers of power, their own so-called allies keep tripping them up. Take Senator Angus King from Maine. That’s right, the independent who cozies up to the left, but conveniently forgets to go along with their most radical plans. Right now, it’s the filibuster that’s about to throw a bucket of water on Democrat dreams—and King’s support for it is like a wrench in their dirty machine.
