Taxpayers Nearly Forced to Fund Islamic Foot-Washing at DFW Airport Until Furious Texans Fought Back

It’s about time someone stood up and said enough is enough. Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport was just moments away from dropping hard-earned American taxpayer dollars to build Islamic foot-washing stations in its terminals. That is, until furious backlash from fed-up citizens and true Texas leadership stopped this nonsense in its tracks.

Let’s get real. Travelers at DFW haven’t been begging for more religious accommodation—at least, not the average American traveler. Yet liberal administrators thought it made perfect sense to set up special washing stations so travelers could prepare for Islamic prayer. Never mind the fact that there are plenty of sinks already available. Never mind that this is a public airport, not a mosque. The politically correct crowd wanted to bend over backward for “diversity,” as usual.

But Texans don’t want political pandering in their airports. When news broke about these taxpayer-funded religious stations, the public was furious. Phones rang off the hook. Social media went wild. Ordinary Americans knew what was at stake: letting political elites and bureaucrats put special interests and globalist agendas above citizens—and above the Constitution.

Thankfully, Governor Greg Abbott actually listened and made it clear that Texas is not going to bow down to pressure from the left or foreign interests. The airport officials finally faced the music and canned the whole project. That’s the kind of backbone this country needs across every state and city.

Liberals love to scream about “separation of church and state”—until it’s a pet cause that fits their woke agenda. Imagine the meltdown if DFW built a chapel just for Christian worshipers or spent public money on Bible study rooms. It’s always the same: every faith gets a red-carpet welcome, except for the values that America was built on. If we’re truly “equal,” then let’s keep it that way for everyone—not just when it’s politically convenient.

America is a land founded on freedom—for ALL. But that doesn’t mean we have to let far-off values take over our daily lives, especially with the blessing of politicians and bureaucrats. So next time the left tries to smuggle their globalist pet projects into public spaces, Texans—and all real Americans—should be ready to shout it down.

Are we going to keep letting liberal elites chip away at our country, piece by piece? Or will we finally remind them that in America, the people still have the final say?
