Texas shuts down woke push for Islamic foot-washing at airport after Abbott steps in

Once again, common sense triumphs over woke insanity—this time, right in the heart of Texas. Dallas-Fort Worth Airport was actually considering putting in special Islamic foot-washing stations. Yes, you read that right: using your tax dollars and public space so a select group could enjoy special new accommodations. The left tried their usual game—pretend it’s “inclusive”—but Texas remembered what real American values look like, thanks to Governor Greg Abbott stepping up.

For anyone still confused, foot-washing stations aren’t like adding more water fountains or better bathrooms for everyone. They’re a clear-cut example of bending over backwards for specific religious demands, while everyone else is told to shut up and pay for it. If this move had gone forward, how long before every other group wanted the airport catering to their wishes, instead of just getting travelers where they need to go? Liberals and their globalist buddies want America to bend until it breaks—and they’re happy to use “diversity” as an excuse.

Of course, the left claims it’s all about “respect.” Funny—where’s this respect when Christians are told to hide their beliefs, when nativity scenes get yanked from public spaces, or prayer gets banned at high schools? The hypocrisy is off the charts. If a public airport proposed a chapel or prayer benches, the so-called tolerant left would be up in arms. But for Islam, it’s suddenly a civil rights emergency.

This isn’t just about bathrooms. It’s about priorities—and about sending a message that America’s traditions and values come first. Taxpayers shouldn’t fork over more money so public spaces become battlegrounds for the left’s endless experiments in social reengineering. The silent majority is tired of watching unelected bureaucrats try to out-woke each other, always at our expense.

So hats off to Governor Abbott for reminding the airport where Texas stands. If the radical crowd wants to push their agenda, they’ll have to do it somewhere else. Texans—and any Americans with common sense—know exactly what’s at stake here. Are we a country where everyone is forced to bend to the loudest activists, or do we finally say enough is enough?
