A shocking story came out of Ohio this week, but sadly, this kind of corruption is becoming all too familiar under liberal leadership. An Ohio citizen just admitted to laundering $3.4 million for a Russian criminal ring that committed massive healthcare fraud—all right under the noses of American authorities who are supposed to keep us safe.
Once again, an everyday American community gets turned into a cash pipeline for international crooks. Russia isn’t just making trouble overseas—they’re looting our systems with the help of people like this guy, who slipped millions of dirty dollars through our own banks. Meanwhile, the left loves to lecture us about “global citizenship.” Well, this is what their weak borders and blind faith in “cooperation” with the rest of the world gets us: Americans laundering Russian mob money, hospitals getting ripped off, and law-abiding taxpayers left holding the bag.
If liberals really cared about America’s security, they’d stop worrying about pronouns and climate lectures and focus on putting criminals behind bars—foreign OR domestic. But under their watch, criminals walk in and out of our financial institutions, playing the system like it’s some kind of rigged game show. Innocent families are the ones paying the price for all this so-called “progress.”
Big banks and “transnational” organizations always seem to find a way to stick it to hardworking Americans. Yet, the left keeps pushing policies that make it easier for money launderers and global crime rings to get inside our borders. They lobby for endless loopholes, slap-on-the-wrist punishments, and open-door immigration. Then they act shocked when Russia—yes, Russia, the left’s favorite boogeyman—uses our financial system to fund their criminal enterprises.
How many more times do we have to watch American communities get burned so liberals can feel virtuous about being “inclusive”? Maybe it’s time we started putting America first—before every scam artist and foreign crook turns Main Street into their own personal laundromat.
