Everyday New Yorkers watched as the “defund the police” crowd gleefully took a chainsaw to NYPD funding, painting cops as the enemy, not the heroes who keep order. Now, with illegal migrants flooding in—and city services stretched thin—the same liberals are scratching their heads, acting surprised that chaos rules the neighborhoods. It’s almost like they wanted this crisis, or were just too arrogant to care about the consequences.
Meanwhile, the officers still wearing the badge? They’re buckling under the weight of bad decisions made by politicians who wouldn’t last five minutes patrolling a real sidewalk. When cops don’t have the support or funds to do their jobs, crime skyrockets and regular families pay the price. Hochul and Mamdani play political games, while criminals and illegal entries walk free.
Let’s be honest: this immigrant disaster was always going to be a nightmare with progressives at the wheel. Sanctuary city policies just invite the world’s problems to New York’s doorstep. And every time someone points out the obvious, liberal elites call it racist or heartless. Sorry, but wanting your cities to be safe and your laws to be respected isn’t bigotry—it’s common sense.
New York deserves better than this circus. How many more cops have to burn out? How many more neighborhoods have to suffer so a few leftist politicians can feel good about their globalist delusions? When will real New Yorkers finally say “enough” and take their city back?
