Liberals are at it again, pretending to be the superheroes protecting our kids. This time, they’re aiming their pitchforks at Meta, the parent company of Instagram. They scream that it’s all in the name of “saving our children,” but anyone actually paying attention knows what’s really behind this crusade. Spoiler alert: it’s not the kids. It’s big, fat lawsuits and another chance to line their own pockets.
If these so-called defenders of America’s youth really cared, they’d be fighting TikTok and YouTube. Let’s face it, that’s where the teens actually spend their hours glued to screens. But you don’t see any grandstanding senators going up against those platforms. Apparently, it’s much easier—and more lucrative—for the anti-tech mob to target a big, American company like Meta. Globalist billionaires in China get a free pass, as usual.
The hypocrisy stinks to high heaven. On one hand, liberals talk nonstop about how American corporations are evil, yet they bend over backwards for foreign tech giants. Meanwhile, their favorite pastime is dragging American businesses through the mud to make themselves look tough in front of TV cameras. They call it “protecting families.” Anyone with half a brain can see it’s just another power grab.
Is Instagram perfect? Of course not. But while politicians run around blaming Mark Zuckerberg for all of society’s problems, their own policies keep kids online longer than ever. Just look at those never-ending COVID lockdowns—brought to you by the same people now lecturing us about screen time. Government meddling didn’t save anyone then, and it won’t now.
What the left really loves isn’t the chance to help children—it’s cash, control, and crushing American innovation. If saving kids from tech harm was their goal, they’d start where kids actually are. But no, it’s much more fun (and profitable) to villainize an American company while giving Chinese communists and Silicon Valley buddies a free ride. Americans see through the charade. How many more times do we have to watch liberals pretend to care about kids just to get a payday?
