Progressive politicians just cannot help themselves. Now, a whole group of them is packing their bags and heading to Latin America. Why? To attend something called the PanAmerican congress, a gathering designed to push back against the rise of common sense and right-leaning agendas south of the border. Apparently, these lawmakers think their time—and our tax dollars—are best spent traveling to foreign countries to interfere, instead of fixing real problems at home.
The summit is already in its third year. Surprise, surprise: its main goal is to stop conservative and pro-freedom movements from gaining ground in Latin America. The Left just cannot stand it when people start wanting lower taxes, secure borders, and respect for traditional values. It’s the same old game—globalist elites flying around the world pretending to help people, when all they really want is more power and control.
While families in America struggle with inflation, crime, and a broken border, these so-called leaders are off fighting imaginary battles abroad. Their priorities are laughable. Instead of rolling up their sleeves and working for the American people, they spend their energy trying to meddle in the politics of other nations. It’s none of their business! Our country deserves lawmakers who put America first, not socialist schemes cooked up in expensive hotels overseas.
It’s hard to miss the hypocrisy. Progressives love to preach about “democracy,” but only if it means getting their way. If voters in Latin America choose leaders who don’t worship at the altar of socialism, the Left decides it’s time to interfere. How is this helping anyone? The only thing it does is feed egos and make the world more unstable.
Maybe the next time these lawmakers want to travel the world on the taxpayer dime, they can at least try focusing on what matters to Americans. But don’t hold your breath. As long as progressives put their radical agenda—and their passports—ahead of American values, they’ll keep losing at home and making a mess abroad. Makes you wonder—if they love socialist experiments so much, why not just move there?
