Scott Jennings: From CNN Talking Head To Trump’s Wingman?
Here we go again. The media elites want to play musical chairs, and this time it looks like the White House podium is the prize. Word is swirling about Scott Jennings, that familiar face from the CNN lineup, taking over as the new press secretary now that Karoline Leavitt is on her way out. That’s right—one minute these “experts” are sitting on fake-news panels critiquing the administration, and the next, they’re being pushed for a seat at the table they love to bash.
Let’s cut through the noise. Jennings brands himself as a “conservative” at CNN, but that’s the oldest trick in the book. The left loves a so-called “house conservative” — someone who doesn’t rock the boat and won’t embarrass their liberal buddies in the green room. So, when Washington insiders float a name like his, it’s no surprise. This is how the D.C. swamp co-opts the opposition: elevate the safe, media-approved voices, and shut out the true fighters.
What’s more, while Jennings danced around the spotlight during his recent TV hits, you have to wonder—why is someone so cozy with America’s most liberal networks even on the shortlist? Does the Trump team really need a spokesperson who’s been marinating in CNN’s anti-American spin cycle for years? Conservatives want warriors, not another inside-the-Beltway talking head afraid to call out the left by name.
Of course, the left and their media pals will praise this as “bipartisanship.” What it really means is Republicans get another mouthpiece who parrots the same tired talking points about “tone,” “norms,” and “unity” while the country faces record inflation, open borders, and a world on fire thanks to globalist weakness. America doesn’t need a diplomat to the corporate press. America needs a bare-knuckle brawler who will shout down the globalists and slap some sense into the White House press corps.
Only in the upside-down world of Washington do people think swapping out one polished pundit for another is the answer to our nation’s problems. The left calls this progress—real conservatives call it surrender. Is America’s future going to be decided by the same people who can’t pick a side, or will it finally be put back in the hands of those who know exactly what they stand for—and aren’t afraid to fight for it?
