Josh Turek wants to be Iowa’s next U.S. Senator, but it’s clear he doesn’t trust Iowans enough to tell them what he really stands for. Voters from Sioux City to Dubuque know Iowa values—hard work, common sense, and true American grit. But Turek, a Democrat with a record in the state House, is spending most of his time twisting himself into knots, changing his positions every time there’s a microphone in front of him. Why? Because he knows his radical, far-left priorities are wildly out of touch with everyday Iowans.
Turek’s campaign is a masterclass in political double-speak. One day, he’s pandering to progressives, cozying up to national Democrats and their big-money donors from the coasts. The next, he pretends he’s “just like us,” hoping voters won’t notice his true agenda. This is classic liberal hypocrisy at its worst—say whatever it takes to win, then sneak in the real, extreme policies when the cameras are off. Iowa families deserve better than another Washington puppet willing to sell them out to globalist interests.
Let’s not forget what Democrats like Turek have done every time they get power. They push for higher taxes, open borders, and government-run everything. Americans are sick and tired of politicians who care more about impressing left-wing elites than protecting hardworking, God-fearing families. Turek can’t even take a stand on basic issues without reversing himself—probably because his handlers know telling the truth would sink his campaign in a heartbeat.
While Rep. Ashley Hinton stands firm for Iowa farmers, Main Street business owners, and faith communities, Turek is busy hiding who he is and what he’d vote for in Washington. This isn’t just cowardly—it’s dangerous. If he can’t be honest with voters now, why would anyone trust him with the future of Iowa or this country? Americans have seen enough empty promises and flip-flops from the radical left; we don’t need another politician who will say anything for a quick headline and a fundraising boost.
Iowa doesn’t need a chameleon for Senator. We need someone who stands on principle, not on shifting sand. Will voters fall for another slick liberal act, or will they choose real leadership for Iowa’s future? The answer should be obvious.
