Biden turns on Israel backs Syria chaos critics say US leadership emboldens enemies worldwide

Once again, the Biden administration is showing its true colors—turning its back on our allies in favor of appeasing unstable regimes. This week, the U.S. envoy to Syria had the nerve to condemn Israeli strikes on Syrian territory. That’s right—the same Israel that has fought bravely for years, defending itself from terror attacks and hostile neighboring regimes, is now the one getting scolded by American officials. And whose side are they rushing to protect? A nation ripped apart by civil war, now under the grip of rebel forces whose loyalty to American values is, at best, questionable.

Let’s not forget how Syria got here in the first place. Just last year, civil war chaos hit a fever pitch. Ahmed Al-Sharaa and his rebel militia stormed out of Idlib province, sweeping into Damascus at lightning speed. The Syrian government crumbled. The country has been a powder keg for over a decade, a playground for Iran, Russia, jihadist radicals, and globalist meddlers looking for a new pawn on the chess board.

Yet in Washington, the priorities seem backwards—as always under Democrat leadership. Instead of standing with Israel’s right to self-defense, these officials wag their fingers and demand Israel back off, all in the name of “stability.” It’s the same tired liberal playbook: placate the world’s worst actors and lecture America’s friends for daring to stand up to bullies. They talk about “international law” while Iran moves weapons across borders, and terrorist thugs plot their next attack. Where is the outrage for these real crimes?

This is what happens when the agenda is run by people who care more about appeasing Europe and unaccountable “global norms” than protecting our allies or America’s own interests. They cower in fear, desperate to look “diplomatic,” while dictators and warlords laugh behind closed doors. Israel knows the cost of weakness, and so should we.

Israel has every right to strike back at threats near its border, especially with chaos still smoldering in Syria. The world needs strength and clarity, not more groveling to regimes that hate us. Is it any wonder our enemies sense weakness with this crowd running the show?
