Minnesota’s poster child refugee accused of million dollar Medicaid scam taxpayers left furious

It happened again. The so-called “model immigrant” who was once celebrated with an “outstanding refugee” award is now at the heart of a massive Medicaid fraud scheme in Minnesota. Salman Ahmed Elmi, praised by liberals as a shining example of their open-door policies, is now facing eight serious charges. The state claims he helped run a scam, billing taxpayers for over a million dollars in bogus services. So much for the narrative that every refugee is a future brain surgeon, teacher, or hero.

For years, the left has pushed these feel-good stories to make Americans feel guilty for wanting secure borders. They put their fantasy before our safety and sanity, handing out awards to people they barely know anything about. But when the truth comes out, who’s left picking up the pieces? Honest American families. It’s always the taxpayer who pays the price for these political games.

We’re told that questioning our massive welfare systems is “xenophobic”—or even un-American. But what’s actually un-American is letting scammers and fraudsters bleed our health system dry while politicians smile and pat themselves on the back.
