This is pure liberal lunacy. The state can’t handle the electricity demand it already has, but Newsom wants everyone driving electric cars and plugging in all at once. Where is all that extra energy going to come from? Maybe the governor thinks magical windmills and Chinese-made solar panels will light the way. Or maybe he just doesn’t care that regular Americans are left holding the bill while bureaucrats chase their “green dreams.”

Nobody ever explains why we’re spending millions on chargers, when California can’t manage the basics like keeping highways clear or schools open. Real citizens are told to sweat through the summer without power, while politicians hand out cash to special interests and green tech corporations. Must be pretty nice—if you’re one of Newsom’s friends in Silicon Valley cashing in on the taxpayer-funded EV gravy train.

Let’s be real: this isn’t about helping working people, and it’s definitely not about helping the environment. The state’s grid—already a disaster—won’t survive the strain of thousands more cars charging up. It’s just more fake virtue signaling from out-of-touch elites who don’t know—or care—what it’s like to raise a family paycheck to paycheck. If Newsom put half as much energy into reliable power as he does into photo ops, California might actually function.
