NY Democrat wants to hike your energy bills to fund elite climate agenda while families struggle

Democrats in New York just can’t help themselves when it comes to raising our bills and trying to force their green energy fantasies on working families. Now, their chosen candidate in NY-17 wants to hike energy costs even higher—all to push their out-of-touch climate agenda. It’s the same tired playbook: punishing average Americans just so they can virtue signal to socialist elites and globalists.

While real New Yorkers are struggling to fill up their cars or heat their homes, the Democrat running against Republican Mike Lawler seems more interested in helping radical environmentalists than helping actual people. Instead of focusing on real solutions or lowering costs, she wants to slap even more regulations on fossil fuels and shove expensive “green” policies down everyone’s throat. Does she even care what her own neighbors are paying for electricity?

Let’s be honest. The left’s so-called green energy revolution is nothing but a cash grab and a scam. It pads the pockets of woke corporations and foreign governments while hardworking folks in the Hudson Valley watch their bills skyrocket. These politicians talk big about saving the planet, but all they’re doing is wrecking family budgets and making America weaker.

This is classic liberal hypocrisy. They expect you to swallow the pain and like it—even as they hop into their jet-setting lifestyles, cranking up the air conditioning in their mansions. New Yorkers don’t want to freeze in the winter or sweat in the summer just so a handful of left-wing activists can feel better about themselves.

When will Democrats learn that families can’t afford to bankroll their environmental pipe dreams? It’s time to call this what it is: an all-out assault on American energy independence and the middle class. Why should regular people pay the price, just so politicians can chase the latest progressive fad? Maybe it’s time these climate crazies pay their own bills for a change.
