Todd Blanche Just Threw Down the Gauntlet for the Second Amendment
Attorney General Todd Blanche isn’t afraid to rock the boat. On Monday, he dropped a bombshell that’s going to send the left into a frenzy. Blanche’s office will now make it easier for felons who have served their sentences to restore their right to own firearms. That’s right—finally, someone in power is showing some backbone and standing up for real American values.
For years, liberals have been quick to strip away Second Amendment rights every chance they get. They love to treat anyone who’s messed up in the past like a permanent second-class citizen. If a person has paid their debt to society, why should they be banned from joining the ranks of responsible gun owners? It’s classic leftist hypocrisy: talk endlessly about “rehabilitation,” but slam every door shut when someone tries to start over.
Blanche is cutting straight through that nonsense. His move is a loud and clear message that the rights spelled out in our Constitution actually mean something. The left wants to keep pushing for tighter and tighter gun control—pretending it keeps people safe—yet it only punishes law-abiding folks and makes cities more dangerous. We know gun control is really just about government control.
This bold new step restores hope and dignity to those who deserve a second chance. It also proves that there are still leaders willing to defend the Constitution, even when it’s unpopular among the liberal elite or their international pals at the U.N. who hate the idea of average Americans having any power at all.
Isn’t it time we stop letting the anti-gun crowd trample on our freedoms? One thing is for sure—Todd Blanche just set off an earthquake, and the American people are ready for it. Liberals might want to plug their ears, because the sound of liberty is only getting louder.
