Michigan Democrats have done it again. This time, their Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed decided he’s basically the new Jesus. That’s not a joke. When asked about pushing radical policies like Medicare for All, El-Sayed responded by comparing himself to Christ himself—because, apparently, if you’re criticized for far-left politics, you’re somehow a martyr.
You just can’t make this stuff up. The left loves to play the victim, and now they’re reaching biblical proportions. El-Sayed acts like he’s on a holy mission, but the policies he’s peddling would turn Michigan into a broke, government-controlled disaster. Democrats like him want to spend your money like there’s no tomorrow, all while pretending they’re some sort of savior for the common man.
Let’s get one thing straight, though. The real Jesus? He was Jewish. El-Sayed claims he’s being treated like Jesus because people won’t blindly accept his radical ideas. But twisting faith and history to score political points isn’t just tone deaf—it’s downright insulting. America doesn’t need more politicians pretending to be prophets, especially when their only miracle is multiplying government control.
What’s even more disturbing is how the left swallows this narrative whole. They cheer as El-Sayed compares himself to one of the most important figures in Western civilization. Meanwhile, they attack anyone with real faith or traditional values. Hypocrisy is the name of the game for Democrats: use religion when it works for them, throw it in the trash when it gets in their way.
Maybe El-Sayed should stick to fixing potholes instead of trying to walk on water. Michigan deserves representatives with respect for faith, facts, and freedom—not another liberal playing god. How many more self-appointed saviors does the Democratic Party have hiding in their back pocket?
