America is lucky today, but just barely. The FBI stopped a nightmare that was brewing in Minnesota. A man by the name of Sheikhdoon Abdullahi Mohamud—whose ties and intentions should make every American take notice—was allegedly plotting another ISIS-inspired massacre at the Mall of America. Let’s be brutally honest: this is not just about one individual. This is the ugly reality of radical Islamic terror growing stronger right on our shores, while our leaders drown us in politically correct nonsense.
How many times do patriotic Americans have to warn the Left that open borders, unchecked refugee resettlement, and endless hand-wringing over “Islamophobia” are putting real lives in danger? The liberal elites seem more worried about offending terrorists than protecting Americans at home. They’ll trip over themselves to lecture about tolerance, but when terrorists are plotting to shoot up a mall packed with families, those same liberals are nowhere to be found.
Let’s not forget, the Mall of America is a symbol in the heartland, a place where families go to make memories. It’s the exact kind of target that radical extremists drool over. Thanks to the failures of globalist immigration policies, it’s now also a place where Americans have to look over their shoulders and whisper prayers that the authorities are always one step ahead. That’s not freedom. That’s fear, disguised by empty promises from spineless politicians.
Of course, the liberal media and Democrat leaders will rush to label this as an “isolated incident,” or blame imaginary right-wing boogeymen for the climate that allows these jihadists to plot in the first place. They’ll do anything except face the facts: America needs secure borders, strict vetting, and a government that puts its citizens before foreign agendas. Why is that so controversial to the Left? Because their multicultural utopian fantasies matter more to them than the safety of the people who actually live here.
The truth is, America’s enemies aren’t hiding somewhere overseas. Many are walking our malls and neighborhoods, shielded by leaders who are more interested in virtue signaling than defending their own nation. The only question left: how many warnings will it take before liberals finally care about American lives more than appeasing radical extremists?
