There’s a sickness in America’s schools, and liberals don’t want to talk about it. They cover it up with touchy-feely slogans and blame-shifting, but the truth is impossible to ignore when you watch that newly released bodycam footage from Newport News. A six-year-old child, not just shooting his teacher, but spewing profanity at the officers who showed up—this is the real state of our classrooms. Our kids, barely out of kindergarten, are being raised in environments where respect means nothing and violence is just part of life.
Now, let’s ask ourselves—how did we get here? Decades of progressive policies force schools to prioritize “feelings” over discipline. Bad behavior is swept under the rug in the name of equity. Whenever a conservative dares to suggest firm rules or hold parents accountable, the left loses its mind and goes on about “systemic injustice.” This is the result. Six-year-olds who know how to curse at cops and pull the trigger, but not how to tie their shoes.
The media and liberal bureaucrats refuse to accept their share of the blame. They’d rather point fingers at gun laws or scream about “gun control,” ignoring the fact that strong families and strong values are what really keep classrooms safe. Our culture has been gutted by globalists and woke ideologues who want to dismantle the nuclear family and raise children to be entitled, angry victims.
Teachers, who should be respected pillars of the community, are now forced to tiptoe around classroom time bombs, thanks to the anti-discipline dogma the left preaches. Principals and administrators are so terrified of lawsuits and bad publicity, they let chaos reign. The left pushes a narrative that all aggression is the fault of “the system,” as if personal responsibility no longer matters—even for children. Well, this is where that road ends.
This footage should outrage every parent in America. If you’re still making excuses for this chaos, you’re part of the problem. How much more proof do we need that the progressive project has failed? Do we really want to see what happens when today’s foul-mouthed first graders become tomorrow’s leaders? Because if we don’t turn this country around now, we’re all in for a nasty surprise.
