NYC’s Far-Left Mayor Blames Israel While Ignoring Hamas Terror—Is This What Liberal Leadership Looks Like?

On the anniversary of Hamas’ bloody rampage against Israel, Zohran Mamdani, the radical leftist mayor of New York City, made his priorities loud and clear. Instead of standing with Israel and the innocent souls butchered by terrorists, Mamdani rushed out a statement attacking the only democracy in the Middle East. With the world remembering the horror of October 7th—a day burned into memory by images of slaughtered families—Mamdani chose to hurl wild accusations at Israel, putting the blame on victims rather than the monsters who attacked them.

This is liberal leadership in 2025: ignore real atrocities and demonize an American ally. On a day that should have been about mourning for the hundreds of men, women, and children murdered by Hamas, Mamdani performed for his woke activist base, reciting the usual far-left script about “genocide” and “apartheid.” He smeared Israel with empty slogans, all while turning a blind eye to the war crimes and terror that actually started it all.

Let’s make something clear. On October 7th, it was Hamas who crossed the border, slaughtered innocent people, and set off a wave of violence. But for Mamdani and his far-left followers, facts don’t matter. In the twisted world of woke politics, only Israel can ever be wrong—even if it means rewriting history. The left refuses to admit that terrorism, not self-defense, is Israel’s real crime.

No other country in the world would be expected to put up with such brutality and then get lectured about human rights by pampered politicians thousands of miles away. Liberals like Mamdani are always first in line to bash Israel while cozying up to globalist interests and anti-American radicals. They wave the flag of “justice” as a cheap political game, never daring to show real sympathy for the Jewish families broken by terror.

Americans should ask themselves: if our own leaders won’t stand up for what’s right on the world stage, why should any of us trust them to defend our own country? While radicals in power demonize our friends and excuse our enemies, who will have the backbone to fight back? Maybe Mamdani should try caring more about protecting innocent lives than winning applause from woke mobs on Twitter.
