The madness in Seattle just reached a whole new level, and even by the city’s own low standards, it’s embarrassing. While law-abiding citizens are still reeling from this summer’s disaster at the Taste of Seattle and downtown continues falling apart through mismanagement, Mayor Katie Wilson seems to think the real priority is fanning hatred — and not just any hatred, but old-school anti-Jewish conspiracy garbage. Instead of fixing crime, homelessness, or basic city services, she’s playing host to radicals spouting the ugliest lies about Jews supposedly “destroying the world.”
Where do Democrats keep finding these leaders? The city gets less safe, more filthy, and smaller businesses close down daily. But instead of owning up to her failures, Wilson rushes to cuddle up with loony anti-Semitic crackpots and hand them a microphone. Liberals always talk about inclusion and tolerance — unless you’re Jewish, apparently.
Seattle’s brain trust seems obsessed with blaming everyone but themselves for their miserable record. Instead of taking one for the team and rolling up her sleeves to work, Wilson is too busy helping these “theorists” poison public discourse. It’s the classic leftist move: distract from incompetence by scapegoating a group that’s already gotten a raw deal throughout history. Is this what passes for “progressivism” now?
Let’s not pretend this is just a local problem. This kind of dangerous rhetoric isn’t coming from the fringe anymore — it’s being pumped out straight from City Hall. The globalist elites and their radical allies cheer while cities burn and the American people are pitted against each other. If this is supposed to be “progress,” count me out.
When are voters going to wake up and stop rewarding this train wreck of failed leadership and hateful nonsense? If the best Seattle’s leaders can offer is hate and passing the buck, maybe it’s time for the adults to take back the room.
