Mark Cohen, a former Democrat lawmaker turned judge, thought he could get away with pushing his partisan talking points online while sitting on the bench. He was wrong.

Everyone knows judges are supposed to be neutral. No one expects perfection, but the American people should at least be able to trust the court system. Cohen, however, thought his robe gave him a free pass to blast out Democrat propaganda from the bench. When the system finally did its job and suspended him, Cohen cried foul, claiming his so-called “free speech” rights were under attack.

It’s always the same story with these left-wing activists—rules for thee, but not for me. Democrats love to demand accountability from conservatives, but when their own get caught with their hand in the cookie jar, they scream about rights and democracy. Let’s be honest: If this judge was a Republican caught posting right-wing content, the liberal media would be calling for jail time, not pity. The double standard couldn’t be clearer.

Luckily, the Supreme Court didn’t fall for this stunt. They knew if partisan judges were allowed to run wild, our entire justice system would turn into a leftist circus. Americans want real justice, not more Democrat drama and anti-American bias infecting the courts. This country cannot survive if the very people meant to uphold the law are secretly pushing globalist and progressive agendas from behind the bench.

Maybe this ruling will remind other activist judges across America that their power is not a blank check. If you want to play politics, run for office. But if you sign up to be a judge, you follow the rules and keep your bias out of the courtroom. Will Democrats ever wake up and realize that America is sick and tired of their hypocrisy? Or will they just keep whining every time they get caught breaking the very standards they claim to champion?
