Every year since that dark October 7th, the world’s oldest sickness—anti-Semitism—has only gotten nastier, louder, and shockingly mainstream. The left barely blinks when terror rips through Israel. Hollywood elites, campus radicals, and so-called “progressive” politicians spend more time condemning Israel’s right to defend itself than they do mourning Jewish lives lost. As antisemitism festers and spreads, most liberals refuse to even call it what it is. If you listen to legacy media, you might even think it’s the Jews who are the problem.
But out there, standing strong against this vile wave, are a handful of brave truth-tellers who aren’t looking for applause. Two non-Jewish women—who aren’t household names like Tucker Carlson and don’t have a cushy TV slot—have stepped up and done what many so-called “allies” refuse to do. While leftist celebrities trip over themselves to justify terror and the Biden administration tip-toes around the facts, these women make their voices heard for Israel and for Jews around the world. They prove you don’t have to be Jewish, or even conservative, to recognize right from wrong.
That matters now more than ever. When a watchdog group rightfully singled out Carlson for his ugly and dangerous rhetoric—naming him “Antisemite of the Year”—the usual suspects whined about censorship. The far-left wants us to believe standing up for Israel makes you the villain, not the actual Jew-haters burning flags and threatening families. The hypocrisy is off the charts. So much for their “tolerance.”
These women didn’t cave to the mob. They didn’t need some international commission or blue-check Twitter crowd to tell them that terrorism is evil and defending Israel is just. They spoke up, not because it was convenient or profitable, but because it was right. In this era of moral confusion, their clear spine puts so many spineless politicians to shame—from the halls of Congress all the way to the Oval Office. Maybe if more people followed their example, Jewish Americans wouldn’t have to live in fear every time there’s a flare-up overseas.
Liberals love to virtue signal about diversity and justice, but when it comes to real, ugly hatred—hatred aimed right at Jews—they offer little more than empty slogans and tired lectures about “both sides.” Thank God there are still some non-Jews willing to see through the fog of left-wing excuses. Maybe the silent majority can take a page from their playbook: Stand up, speak out, and stop apologizing for supporting America’s greatest ally. Is it really so hard to call out evil when you see it?
