Cornell student fights to keep Letitia James out of assault case exposing justice system meltdown

Another day, another headline proving the American justice system is on thin ice, thanks to leftist games. At Cornell, a student facing serious accusations from 2024 is fighting to block Letitia James—yes, the same Letitia James who spends her time as New York’s liberal attorney general chasing after political enemies instead of, say, stopping real crime—from prosecuting the case. Only in today’s America can the attorney general become an activist masquerading as a prosecutor, more worried about media attention than true justice.

Here’s the deal: a civil suit is out there, naming Cornell, a fraternity called Chi Phi, and seven of its members for an alleged attack. The victim, called Jane Doe, is seeking justice. But now, the student accused of the assault wants James nowhere near the prosecution. Why? Because even young adults realize the office of Letitia James has become a weaponized tool of the left—one that targets conservatives while letting real criminals walk free on our streets.

Liberals like James love calling themselves “defenders of justice.” Yet time and again, they twist the law for personal and political gain. It’s laughable: the same crowd that howls about “believing women” is quick to ignore due process if it means scoring points in their crusade against those they don’t like. Meanwhile, the real victims get lost in the shuffle of woke virtue signaling.

Don’t ignore the bigger problem. The radical left is determined to insert itself into every corner of American lives—from our schools to our criminal courts. They care more about headlines and hashtags than the Constitution. And when a college student fears the fix is in before they even step into a courtroom, that’s a blaring siren something has gone terribly wrong.

Let’s be honest: do Americans really want George Soros-backed activists running our state legal systems? The answer should be obvious. The justice system should protect all citizens, not just the chosen few who play along with liberal politics. If this case at Cornell doesn’t wake us up to the dangers of politicized prosecutions, what will?
