Liberal leaders love to talk about unity. They love grand speeches about inclusion and tolerance. But those pretty words mean nothing on the streets of New York. Just look at what happened when NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani showed up at an October 7th vigil—he was booed and branded a traitor by the very mobs he panders to.
Three years ago, Hamas and other terrorist groups stormed into Israel, slaughtering about 1,200 innocent people and kidnapping hundreds more. It was brutal proof of what happens when radical ideology is allowed to fester. Instead of standing against that kind of evil, left-wing politicians like Mamdani try to play both sides, hoping to please everyone—except the actual victims.
This is what decades of liberal cowardice has delivered. The so-called “progressive” movement claims to fight for justice, but ends up kissing the ring of pro-terrorist mobs on American soil. Pro-Palestinian protesters have hijacked the conversation, shouting down anyone who won’t repeat their slogans—even someone as far-left as Mamdani. The circus is now turning against its own ringmasters.
It’s a joke, but it isn’t funny. When angry activists can shout down a city mayor during a vigil for terror attack victims, it shows just how upside-down our priorities have become. New York is supposed to be a symbol of strength and resilience. Instead, our leaders are weak, confused, and willing to betray basic American values for a few votes or an easy headline.
Maybe the left should ask themselves who they truly stand with. The radical mobs they coddle don’t care about our country’s safety or moral clarity. It’s time to wake up and stop letting extremists run the show. How much more hypocrisy will Americans tolerate before demanding real leadership that protects our people and our principles?
