Liberals meltdown as Fort Hood terrorist finally faces justice after years of legal stalling

Nidal Hasan slaughtered 13 Americans and wounded 31 more at Fort Hood. He stared down heroes in uniform and turned a processing center into a bloodbath. Now, after years of stalling and endless legal games, his lawyers are stomping their feet because the U.S. government might just find some backbone and actually carry out justice. It’s about time. Anyone with common sense sees through the noise. Hasan was convicted. The facts are clear. But like clockwork, his defense team cries “political theater”—as if the real tragedy is finally holding a terrorist accountable.

It’s no surprise to see the left and their allies in the legal world up in arms. Every time a terrorist faces justice, they play the same tired card: blame the process, whine about motives, and pretend the cold-blooded killer is the victim. This is the same mentality that treats our soldiers like criminals and coddles anyone who hates America. Liberals love to put the feelings of murderers above the rights of the fallen. How many more years were they planning to delay? It’s an absolute mockery.

Let’s not beat around the bush: the death penalty exists for scum like Hasan. He opened fire on his fellow countrymen while wearing the same uniform they did. He declared war inside our own walls. Yet, America’s so-called “elites” still clutch their pearls when the justice system actually moves forward. They’d rather twist themselves in knots defending the indefensible than admit that evil deserves consequences. Instead of making excuses for a terrorist, why isn’t the outrage aimed at how long it’s taken to deliver justice for the families of the slain?

This insanity is what happens when globalist lawyers and anti-American activists shape policy. Their sympathy goes to the criminal, not the innocent. Their concern is about optics and process, never about the blood on the ground or the children left without parents. Liberals claim they support the troops, but they trample the memory of the fallen every time they rush to Hasan’s defense.

Justice delayed is justice denied, and America has waited too long. Hasan had his day in court. His guilt is not in question. The real “political theater” is this circus of endless appeals and pity for a confessed killer. Maybe it’s time for liberals to ask themselves—if not now, then when will justice actually matter in this country?
