Who gets to decide how much money a person should have? Lately, the left has whipped up a frenzy over so-called “trillionaires”—as if being extraordinarily successful is some kind of crime. These socialists love to attack the rich, pretending that somehow, if we just smashed the wealthy, life would miraculously become fair. It’s the same tired story: punish achievement and worship victimhood.
Americans have seen this all before. First, liberals set their sights on millionaires. Then billionaires. Now it’s trillionaires—an invented boogeyman meant to scare people into supporting insane wealth taxes, big government schemes, and endless handouts. It’s the politics of envy, plain and simple. Liberals want government to pick everyone’s pocket until no one has anything left to take.
But let’s face it—the idea that one person having too much money somehow hurts everyone else is just flat-out wrong. Trillionaires don’t hoard cash under silly mattresses. They invest, build, and create jobs for regular people. These are the folks who fuel progress, innovation, and American greatness, not the bureaucrats collecting dust in Washington.
What’s even more ridiculous is how the left pretends they care about “fairness” while lining their own pockets with lobbyist cash. Politicians and Hollywood elites lecture about greed, then fly off in private jets to their third mansions. It’s classic globalist hypocrisy. If liberals really want to build a strong country, maybe they should try working hard and building something themselves instead of tearing down those who do.
Americans don’t need another lecture from the jealousy crowd. This is a country built by people who dreamed big and achieved big. We should be celebrating success—not trying to tax it out of existence. Instead of wondering how much money someone should have, maybe we should ask: what happened to the spirit that made America the envy of the world? Or is the real liberal goal to make sure no one gets ahead—ever?
