While the radical left does their best to erase our history, real Americans know the truth — Christopher Columbus should be celebrated, not shamed. This Monday, as Columbus Day rolls around, we’ll hear endless lectures about so-called “genocide” and “colonization.” Liberals want us to believe this is a day to be ashamed of. But nothing could be further from the truth. Columbus’s journey launched the spiritual and cultural transformation that would one day produce the United States, the greatest nation in human history.
Let’s be clear: Without Columbus bringing Judeo-Christian values to this continent, America as we know it would not exist. His daring voyage wasn’t just some old story in a dusty textbook — it was the spark that set off an unstoppable wave of progress, faith, and freedom. The left wants to scrub all of this away, erasing Columbus and the very roots that made America strong. They would rather tear down statues than build anything worth defending.
What’s their real problem with Columbus? Simple: He represents the values they can’t stand — courage, faith, and the hunger for discovery. Liberals would have us trade in all that for endless hand wringing and self-hate. Instead of gratitude for the civilization that gave us freedom and opportunity, they offer only guilt and division. The globalist elites love rewriting the past to fit their anti-American narrative, hoping if they repeat the lie enough times, we’ll all forget the pride we should feel in our shared heritage.
President Trump gets it. He urges Americans to stand tall, brush off the critics, and honor the unrivaled greatness of Columbus. It’s about time we stopped letting leftists dictate what our children are taught about our nation’s foundation. Don’t let them win the culture war by default. Columbus Day isn’t about hate or oppression; it’s about celebrating boldness, faith, and the birth of the greatest nation on earth.
Are we going to let a bunch of bitter, clueless activists steal our history? Or are we going to celebrate the men and events that made America exceptional? The choice couldn’t be clearer.
