That’s right, he’s now pushing for James Talarico, a Democrat who will no doubt toe the party line on everything from open borders to woke school agendas.
Nelson has built his entire career pretending to stand with hardworking Americans and proud Texans. Now he wants us to believe James Talarico is the answer? Give me a break. Talarico’s record is exactly what the radical left wants: more government spending, more attacks on parents’ rights, and more weakness on immigration. Texans don’t want more chaos. They want secure borders, strong families, and real jobs—not the failed policies Democrats are trying to trick us into supporting.
What’s even more ridiculous is how the liberal media will trip over themselves fawning over this endorsement, as if Nelson’s celebrity should magically transform a blue candidate into a Texas champion. It shows just how desperate the Democrats are. They know their policies can’t win, so they parade out old stars to distract voters from their real agenda. Does Nelson think a flashy video in his usual red bandana means we’ll just forget what the left is doing to our schools and our state? Not a chance.
Let’s remember: Texas is supposed to set the standard for American values, not surrender to the trend-chasing elite or globalist interests that have zero respect for faith, freedom, or family. The left wants to turn every election into a popularity contest instead of a real debate about what matters. Texans shouldn’t care who’s friends with Hollywood or who sings a catchy tune. They should care about real leadership—and that sure doesn’t come from a Democrat eager to appease Biden’s administration.
At the end of the day, no washed-up celebrity endorsement is going to hide what the Democrat Party really stands for. Texans know better. Maybe the real question is: how long before the liberals realize that a country star can’t fix their anti-American agenda?
