Big Tech is back at it again. Just when Americans think they might get a fair shot at unbiased information, the usual suspects find a new trick to tip the scales. This time, it’s Apple—yes, the same multi-billion-dollar company that loves cozying up to woke politics—pushing what it calls a “personalized” voting guide straight to users’ phones. Sounds helpful, right? But dig a little deeper, and it reeks of the same old liberal bias.
Apple claims this is all about helping users find information about their local elections. All people have to do is enter their zip code into Apple News, and—voilà—they get election coverage tailored just for them. The catch? Almost every source steers sharply left. It’s not a “guide.” It’s more like Apple’s attempt to be the new Ministry of Information, feeding citizens what globalist elites want them to read.
This is what happens when Silicon Valley controls the flow of information. Conservatives and independent thinkers know this game well. Dress up propaganda as “personalized” news, drown out voices that won’t toe the progressive line, and pretend it’s all for the public good. Never mind balance, fairness, or—God forbid—allowing a few non-liberal perspectives to make it through.
Of course, the left eats this up. It fits perfectly with their playbook: keep casual voters in a fog, make sure the news confirms their worldview, and nudge the country further down the road to big government and globalist control. The hypocrisy is stunning—these are the same activists who lecture about the importance of “democracy” and “diverse voices,” all while ensuring their own echo chamber is the only one people hear.
Americans shouldn’t let Apple or any other tech giant tell them how to vote or think. The real question is, why do the liberals always need to stack the deck? Maybe because, deep down, they know their ideas can’t win if people are actually given the facts.
