Americans still remember the horror of the Fort Hood terrorist attack back in 2009. Soldiers were gunned down right here on our own soil by a man who sided with America’s enemies. It wasn’t some ordinary crime—it was an act of war, committed by a radical jihadi who turned a safe military base into a scene of chaos and bloodshed.
Now, one of the brave survivors of that attack is ready to look evil right in the face. He plans to show up at the execution of Nidal Malik Hasan and watch that coward finally get what’s coming to him. There’s real justice in seeing this traitor held accountable, especially after years of legal games, excuses, and soft handling from the political left.
Does anyone remember how the Obama administration called the shooting “workplace violence”? Liberals bent over backward, refusing to call it what it was: terrorism. Their weakness and political correctness let Hasan drag out the process, while real heroes—the soldiers who lived and those who died—were ignored. The left honestly seems more concerned about Hasan’s “rights” than the victims’ suffering.
Let’s not kid ourselves. No soldier should ever have to beg for justice or be forced to watch politicians play word games while murderers walk free or get treated like misunderstood mental patients. The left preaches tolerance, but their version of “compassion” means letting terrorists exploit our laws while Americans pay the price. Where was their outrage as this jihadi wasted years with appeals, funded by taxpayer dollars?
Americans crave real consequences for real crimes. It’s about time someone faces justice, eye-to-eye. Maybe if more liberals had the guts to stare evil down, we wouldn’t have terror plots and mass shootings in the first place. At the end of the day, whose side are they really on?
